  6. Actually, until the Research Department abandons their
  7. fruitless Search for the Identity of John Steed's Car, or
  8. SIJSC (not to be confused with SETI, Search for
  9. Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence, a much simpler task), we aren't
  10. even sure that there ARE any topless nightclubs in Sydney,
  11. but somehow it seems inevitable for a city which identifies
  12. its passions as the pursuit of sunshine, beer and s-e-x.
  13. Having already dealt with the subject of beer in previous
  14. issues, we should probably elaborate on the subject of
  15. sunshine, touched upon briefly in the discussion of nude
  16. beaches in AJAEN #03.  You see, one of the reasons that
  17. Sydneysiders spend so much time on the beach is that the
  18. water is owned by the SHARKS!  Sydney Harbor is the home of
  19. no less than 90 species of sharks as well as the Portuguese
  20. man-of-war jellyfish.  And of course, it's even harder to
  21. see the sharks and jellyfish at night, so it's safer to simply
  22. go drinking beer in a nightclub or indulge in a little
  23. s-e-x; and, having been topless on the beaches all day, one would
  24. scarcely need to put on one's shirt for drinking beer, so
  25. there you are!  Topless nightclubs!  (Who needs the Research
  26. Department anyway...)
